Mandarin Bird Walk
In the early morning of May, we can see different kinds of migrant birds in Queen Elizabeth Park, the highest point of Vancouver, especially during overcast skies. We will walk around the Lawn Bowling Club, Conservatory and Four Season Restaurant, Quarry gardens. There are flowering shrubs and trees attract insects and birds. We may see Anna’s Hummingbird, Warbling Vireo, Black-capped Chickadee, Bushtit, Red-breasted Nuthatch, American Robin, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Black-throated Gray Warbler, House Finch, Pine Siskin, and American Goldfinch.
