Indigenous Birds & Plants Walk

NOTE: We meet at the #19 Stanley Park Bus Loop and will begin promptly!

Discover Spapayeq (Stanley Park)—the traditional, and unceded land of the Musqueam, Squamish Nation, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations people.

Walk through the forest and bathe in Coast Salish knowledge of cedar, hemlock and the native birds that call Spapayeq home. Through storytelling, you will learn about the traditional and present-day relationship between birds, people, and nature as well as the importance of birds from a West Coast Salish First Nations cultural perspective.
